INDEMNISEVOL · READER RESOURCES
Editorial policy and commercial disclosure
IndemniseVol publishes practical information about passenger rights, with particular attention to departures from France and the French complaint process. It is an information publisher, not an airline, public authority or law firm.
Start with primary sources
Legal explanations should be traceable to the applicable regulation, a verified court decision or current official guidance. For France, relevant sources include EUR-Lex, Service Public and the DGAC. An adopted reform must be distinguished from rules that already apply to a passenger’s flight.
Separate the rights
Our explanations distinguish fixed compensation, ticket refunds, re-routing and care. A headline amount is conditional and must not be presented as a guaranteed payment. Route examples must account for intra-EU distance bands and the operating carrier.
State the limits
General guides cannot determine the outcome of an individual dispute. Calculators provide an indication from the selected inputs, not a legal decision. Deadlines, a carrier’s explanation and a proposed alternative journey may require individual assessment.
Commercial relationships
The site includes partner links to AirHelp, through which we may receive a commission. AirHelp is optional and its own fees and service terms apply. A free initial eligibility check does not mean representation is free. Readers can contact the airline directly.
Dates and corrections
A review date refers to the page or material specifically reviewed; it does not certify every external link or the entire archive. If a statement appears incorrect, use the contact details on the site and include the page URL, the passage and an authoritative source where available.
Editorial attribution
Guidance is attributed to the publication’s editorial organisation. This must not imply personal legal qualifications, a regulator’s endorsement or an independently verified outcome. Published source links allow readers to inspect the underlying guidance.
